Evening ITEMART 5 ^! 09/01/2011
The new year starts again with ITEMART! Back from holiday, still swollen with all the goodies you eat with family and friends, we meet with the 5th night Itemart the penultimate stage of the quarter-finals!
New Year ... and a lot of news in Serbian!
Two more challengers: ELENA CENGIO and SNUFF RAMA , also with two very different styles.
ELENA CENGIO cultivated his passion for speaking with a different painting techniques and styles, all in a wide variety topics. One of the striking features in his paintings "more conservative", such as the painting of Ophelia, is the arrangement of different color areas: they are not delineated by real sharp lines, but with contours that melt creating blocks of color that simply do not mix but are brought together and allowing the human eye to create shapes and lines in between. The absence of forms in space brings our Elena in his other paintings to abstract and informal, creating a new artistic language of improvisation and free brushstrokes and thick layers of paint, which is denied reality as we know it rationally: the artistic experience for the young painter becomes only a witness of his being unconscious most of his action and more instinctive.
SNUFF RAMA ranges between styles and genres of the twentieth century: from the dada through the informal street art and pop art. And each of these trends and Moviement borrows a particular characteristic and melee them to the original freedom of expression that distinguishes him.
For Itemart, Pluto has proposed a series from the pop flavor entitled "Errata" where executives are only so many windows that open into the reality of every day discovering a parallel world full of colors, writings, drawings and cartoons, flowing stretches of pipes, fitting ideal of these images. The yawning gaps of these breaks, the network of pipes weed, stopping for a moment (and forever on canvas), this enchanted world ... and curiosity inherent in our humanity is almost a "fault".
